Giant Robot Gripper Hand
Description: This project is a "garbage picker" tool that resembles a robot hand. It is constructed with some PVC tubing, a length of steel pallet strapping, a couple of rivets and a rubber band. The Hand of Fate - Electricity Game
Description: This is a take off of the old "complete the circuit" game. We used an easy built jig to bend a wire into the shape of a hand and added some batteries and a small pizo electric buzzer. A great learning tool for simple circuits.Difficulty: Intermediate

Mouse Trap Model Car
Description: This car uses the spring action of a mouse trap to propel it across the floor. We let the kids use a drill press, equipped with a hole saw to make the wheels, a bench mounted belt sander and jig saw for the frame. (under parental supervision of course!)Difficulty: Intermediate
